New V-slot system™ for improved venting

Radiator Plates

Certain pads and calipers require insulation to prevent excess heat from reaching the hydraulics and EBC has developed a range of perforated stainless steel radiator plates that reduce heat conduction by approximately 50%.

One good example of this is the Z06 padlet caliper system where internal abutment walls reduce airflow and a number of our drivers have reported caliper overheat. Radiator shims are available for this pad set and for other popular pads in race use which may be pushing the heat barrier higher than was intended by the manufacturers design team.
