"Thanks for the chance to respond with our comments! So far so good. The inital bite is MUCH better than the stock pad, and they do not seam to fade. I have not gotten them really hot yet, but I have gotten them as hot as the stock pads would start to fade, and nothing from the Yellowstuff brakes!" |

Braking was absolutely fantastic. I was able to go very deep into the turns before braking. Carrying lots of my speed. Zero fade all day. No squeal either. And almost no dust. Rotors look good. Not groved or checkered. Was able to make up a lot of my time with the repeated late-braking. So far, the best pad that I have run for HPDE/TT (Hawk HT10, GranSport GS4 also used). |

Jim Martz Racing with Yellowstuff Brake Pads |

This past weekend was my first Auto-X in the Yellowstuff Brake Pads after the break in. I was thoroughly impressed, and will continue to support your products when they deliver performance like this. I passed on the offer to several forum members, and have told roughly 25-30 other people what I am running for pads, which looks good for you considering I was 2nd in PAX on the weekend with 70 drivers there. Thanks again for an awesome opportunity. |

It's James Hewson with the '93 Mazda RX7, just thought I'd drop you a line after having a chance to attend a few races with the Yellowstuff brakes installed. The bed in time flew by, and there was a noticeable difference in stopping power within the first 100-200 miles. I am very impressed with the initial performance, they bite MUCH harder than the pads I had installed previously. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to get it out on a road course so I can't give much of a review on prolonged heavy braking and brake fade, but for auto-x purposes they have been working exceptionally well. I have FTD'd at least one event since I installed them and have placed within the top 3 positions for overall time at the others. I have yet to not place 1st in my class (SSM) although the competition there isn't very stiff. |

Thanks for genoerously sending me a set of your new Yellowstuff brake pads. I have them on my 2009 Suabaru WRX which I am campaigning this year in SCCA Solo/autocross in the D Stock class. So far, I am leading the regional championship series. I also placed 3rd at the San Diego national Tour event against a field of stiff competition. I am attaching a photo of my car from the Utah National Tour event which was also the Western States Championship. The pads bedded-in easily and provide very good initial/cold bite and linear braking under severe autocross conditions. They are a marked improvement over my factory pads. They do squeal a bit at low speeds (coming to a stop in traffic at a light) and they dust significantly. I suppose this is always the tradeoff for improved pad performance (and I will take dusty, noisy pads that help me win any day). Keep up the good work at EBC Brakes and I'll keep racing hard. |
