EBC Brakes sister Company ABAX Engineering is the place to shop for jets for motorcycle carburetors whether you want a carb jet for an amal carburetor or a keihin carburetor we have all the sizes and shapes you need.
First choose the style of carburetor jet you are looking for and then select from our comprehensive carburetor jet lists below. The most popular carburetor jets are for the mikunicarb and the keihin carburetors where there are choices of hexagon or slotted style carburetor jets for both.
The Mikunicarb is popular on most street sport bikes and whereas original mikuni carburetor parts cost far more, the EBC range of carburetor jets by ABAX Engineering are precision brass mainjets and are completely interchangeable with mikuni parts themselves. Similarly parts for the keihin carb range are again precise flow rate gauged and clearly market carburetor jets that will intrechange directly with the keihin carb parts. Motorcycle carburetors and atv carburetors have given way somewhat to injection systems but for off road applications the motocross and atv market still strongly prefer carburetors for their fuel systems.

If you wish to buy a mainjet for your motorcycle or ATV here is how to do it.
1) Decide the type of carburetor you have Keihin or Mikuni
2) Then determine what type of jets you have Hexagon mainjet or slotted round main jet. As a guide most street bikes use slotted jets and most off road Motorcycles and ATV use Hex style mainjets.
3) Read off your current jet the size which will be engraved or stamped on the side or end of the jet.
4) Then decide whether you are seeking to get MORE fuel which needs a larger mainjet or less fuel which needs a smaller jet and order the appropriate jet. This is a process of tuning and we suggest you buy 3 or 4 jets in single steps up or down from where you start so as to be able to complete the tuning process without having to run backwards and forward to your dealer for a tiny carburetor jet part.
Remember the carburetor mainjet only determines fuel from mid range to full throttle openings. Before that the slide and pilot or needle jet will determine the mixture and how the bike runs. There are several useful articles written by others that offer some help here, is one of them.Click Here To See PDF!
A popular way to check main jet requirements is to get the bike warm, run it for a period that would ensure it was on the mainjet and not on part throttle and then kill the engine and coast to a standstill and check the plug colour. This is a professional process and MUST be done in a safe environment, away from traffic and as they say "DONT TRY THIS AT HOME" .......
