Whilst we are proud to say these rotors are made in the UK we are equally proud to say that they are now made with GERMAN MILL ROLLED STAINLESS STEEL rolled in 500 ton batches to an exact and unique EBC specification. Our German neighbours are extremely clever in steel production, sadly we have few mills left in the UK but Germany is just as good. This steel has a perfect blend of chrome and carbon to allow a perfect heat treatment and tempering process that produces a perfect rotor, not TOO HARD so it has no friction or might risk cracking plus also works well in the wet but not TOO SOFT so that it wears quickly.

Totally eliminating the chances of rotor warping these square sided buttons extend useful life and keep rotors perfectly flat and true for tens of thousands of miles, even in race use these rotors STAY STRAIGHT. No other rotor has these features and when they do, we will see them in court.

We weighed all the new streetbike rotors on new models and in every case, EBC was the lightest sometimes by quite a chunk that allows us to make the claim that THESE ROTORS REDUCE UNSPRUNG WEIGHT AND EVEN IMPROVE HANDLING.

Again specially selected and mill rolled alloys in Belgium the EBC rotor hubs are light and ductile, no stress cracks in these units, precision machined and straight to within less than one thousandth of an inch.

Every EBC rotor is hand built and inspected by our team, not one rotor leaves our factory without passing our tests of run out and parallel. If your wheels are straight, then you will have brakes like SILK.

Even the drive buttons connecting the hub and rotor blade are stainless steel and preloaded using the unique EBC pressure washers and safely riveted to avoid any chance of a loose button

For rear wheel fitments or front units with non floating (solid or one piece ) design rotors the EBC units still have a lot to offer being made using this same German stainless steel, laser profiled for lightest weight and precision ground on our new Vertical grinding machines,then edge deburred and lovingly measured by our inspectors.
