July 2008 - EBC Brakes wins 5 off road championships

Five separate cross country championships were won during 2007 using EBC Brakes Redstuff and Yellowstuff grades. The Mitsubishi team of Brazil completed the entire race using just a single set of EBC Yellowostuff. Click this link to see a DVD of the championship winning L200 Team.

July 2008 - PDP Factor Group signs with EBC Brakes

The UK major motor factor group PDP which includes a group of over 50 factoring outlets across the UK has signed up in a three year deal to stock and sell EBC Brake products. Reasons for the decision were quality, range and high availability which the British made EBC product offered.

April 2008 - EBC Brakes wins in Targa Rally Prologue

Congratulations to Matt and Casey Close for a fantastic session in the tarmac pre-stages of the 2008 Targa Rally in their Porsche 911. Matt used EBC formula 1793 Yellowstuff and completed 6 hours of racing with just one set of brakepads. April 2008 - EBC Brakes now OE to Morgan Cars

EBC Brakes has been chosen as the OE supplier of brake pads to Morgan cars. Supplies of the latest version Greenstuff for street and Redstuff as a sport upgrade version have been supplied to the last remaining British Car builder through AP Caparo, the brake system builders.

April 2008 - EBC Brakes now supplies London Taxi

EBC Brakes will now supply all OES service parts for London Taxi TX1 and TX2 through system builders AP Caparo for London Taxi aftermarket. The popular Black London taxis have been a landmark of the British Capital for many years and are a regarded as a tough test of low noise and highest durability in brakes. EBC Carbon series pads have proved the winner in the evaluation. EBC will shortly commence supplies of OEM product for the new build on London's TX4 model black cabs.

April 2008 - Euro Car Parts Signs with EBC Brakes

The UK's largest independent factor, Euro Car Parts with over 8 million square feet of warehouse space, over £120 million in sales and 2000 employees has signed a contract to place EBC premium and performance brakes in all of its 52 UK locations effective immediately. The six figure deal will make ECP one ofthe UK's largest stockists of EBC sport brakes.

April 2008 - Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit endorses EBC Brakes

After extensive race testing, a deal has been reached to equip all of the Silverstone race school cars with EBC Yellowstuff brake pads. Commenting on performance, Robin Baxter (MIMI) workshop supervisor for the Silverstone Experience says "Our previous pad suppliers product lasted only 800 miles and required new discs every second set of pads. With the EBC Yellowstuff at 1600 miles, the pads are only half worn and the discs are like new." Adopting EBC Yellowstuff has reduced costs and improved driver safety. March 2008 - Largest in UK CAAR group signs with EBC Brakes.

With over 600 outlets the UK automotive parts factor and retailer group CAAR has signed a deal to introduce EBC Brakes to its members effective immediately. The facts that EBC brakes has the largest range of brakes in the UK and were very pro-active with the soon-to-be-launched CAAR retail websites (www.caarparts.co.uk and www.carbitz.co.uk ) were a major influence in the choice of EBC brakes as a new supplier.
