I just got back from 2 days instructing at Mid Ohio for Porsche Club. I had new EBC Yellowstuffs pads fr/rr, with EBC Sport rotors fr/rr. Braking was phenomenal, with no issues. My Advan Neova tires' grip would go away before the brakes. The dusting is shockingly low for track use (compared with any Hawk product). The Yellowstuffs' street performance are also quite good considering it's a "race compound" (according to EBC). The dusting is minimal with a very light dust coat after a week's worth of combined highway/city driving. For the price, the EBCs cannot be beaten. If you do any track events I recommend the EBC Sport rotors (dimpled/slotted/zinc-coated). They're not only attractive, but minimize pad glaze due to heat. Try to get the UK-versions of the front rotors, as the Brembo blanks EBC had used previously, while excellent warped after hard track use while the UK versions did not warp.

When I was upgrading my brake system in my car, I didnt want to go to stock pads (me having experience of them just giving out). I was told by friends the yellowstuff was great, so I bought a set. They have never let me down so far. I even had my booster tightened too tight when it was replaced, I dragged the pads for 40 miles at about 75mph the whole way, and they didnt warp the rotors, still stopped me at lights, and didnt kill themselves. I am putting rear disc on the civic soon and I will be going with the yellowstuff on the rear too. |

This is a pad that will keep up with anything else at twice the price. I would say these dust slightly less than the stock pads. Great for track days. I use these with the sloted/dimpled rotors for the track and I switch to RedStuff for my street driving (little dusting). I have also had great results with the RedStuff on the track. I recommend EBC to anyone. Any pad when subject to too much heat will fail, I can say with my rotors nearing 1K deg (975degree therm was flickering off the chart) the fade was much less than I would have thought, lasted the session, (brake ducts have fixed that now). I get about 4-6 HPDE weekend Events out of a set of yellows since I installed brake cooling ducts. Before I was getting 3-4! |

I recently replaced a set of Green Stuff pads with Yellow
Stuff pads. The Yellow Stuff are just so much better. They grip harder and much more consistently from the first stop. These pads also generate much less dust. After 1000 miles (5 weeks) my wheels are only slightly dirty and I cannot say if any of it is from dust. I am hoping the Yellow Stuff will last much longer, but it is too early to tell. |
