Randy Hawkins - Motocross Champion Racer
Randy Hawkins - AMA National Enduro Champion Racer
In his day, Randy Hawkins was America's best off-road rider, reeling off six AMA National Enduro championships when the series was the most competitive in the nation. Randy then gave back to the sport that gave him so much, moving from Suzuki to Yamaha and starting his own off-road team under the AM Pro Yamaha banner. Through that team, Randy molded two unknown commodities, Jason Raines and Barry Hawk, and groomed them into champions. And Randy kept on racing himself, pulling off a historic seventh AMA National Enduro title in 2004. In tight terrain, Hawkins is still very fast. He's moved into part-time racer status, opening room in the team for two more young pilots, Charlie Mullins and Thad DuVall. Randy had considered a career racing cars, but after tooling with the idea for a year, he decided motorcycle racing is where he wanted to stay. A true leader, Randy continues to help this sport grow, and he probably always will.
