This is exciting .....Targa Rally Prologue 180 KM/Hour plus a new record 3.13 minutes using EBC Brakes. This is a tought test ever on brakes, tarmac,slick tyres, repeated braking every 200 metres knocking off 100K's of speed. One mistake or brake failure here and you're in someone's front garden with a lawnmower wrapped round your neck. Incredible scenes to watch. Well done to Matt and Casey Close the driver and navigator. One set of pads went the whole 6 hours racing. |

Ultra high friction pads for race use but perfectly safe for street use.
Although a full race material and capable of high temperature use with very good wear life, this new formulation sets a new trend in race type brake pad compounds that can be used on the highway. The “bite” from cold is superb which is uncommon with race materials (normally requiring warm-up) and makes this a pad which can be safely used on both street and track. This new formulation has been used by numerous championship race and rally drivers and is truly a milestone in brake pad material development. Nominal friction coefficient 0.5 with zero rotor damage and the dust is the same or perhaps slightly more than many original pads, this is NOT a low dust pad. |

Ultra high friction brake pads for US built trucks and 4x4 vehicles.
If you want improved stopping power with just a pad change, this is the perfect pad choice. This refined version of the famous EBC Yellowstuff race formulation is now available in pad designs to fit popular American trucks/pick-ups and many Asian and European built 4x4s. This fast growing market for improved horsepower trucks and oversize wheel conversions has thrown up a black hole requiring a performance pad to fit these makes and models that will stop even the fastest driver in a heartbeat. Average friction coefficient 0.5 with similar dust to original pads and the dust is the same or perhaps slightly more than many original pads, this is NOT a low dust pad. |
Stretched limos is another superb application for this material. EBC Brakes is now supplying this compound for stretched F250s, stretched Excursions, stretched Hummers which are subjec to a PSV (public service vehicle) test. Vehicles which failed the PSV test with standard brakes passed the test quoting a 20% brake improvement when using this material.
Yellowstuff performance range is a high friction aramid fiber pad, totally resistant to brake rotor vibration, and easy on rotors.
Many part numbers now carry ECE R90 approval. Check with our technical department on cartechnical@ebcbrakesuk.com to confirm if this material is street legal for your model when using for highway driving within Europe where regulation 90 applies. Please note THERE IS NO WARRANTY whatsoever for any EBC product used in Rally, Racing or Trackday, (Trackday use is tougher on brakes) because of the very demanding environment of racing.
