SPONSORED RIDER/DRIVER UPDATE

Retford-based Scott Stone is competing in No Limits Racing’s Premier 1000cc Championship in 2025 on his Yamaha R1, aiming to achieve solid results throughout the year. With more class podiums and PBs smashed at the last round on Brands Hatch’s might GP circuit, Stone next took on Donington Park, where some more fantastic riding resulted in more class-podium finishes.

For the 2025 season, the G&S Racing Kawasaki motorcycle race team is once again competing in the BSB’s British Supersport Championship with two riders: TJ Toms and Jorel Boerboom. With a positive start to the year and a mixed bag of results in the previous round at Snetterton, the roadshow next took the outfit to Scotland’s Knockhill Circuit, where a rainy weekend played host to more positive results.

Tennessee-based pro drifter, Hooman Rahimi, is once again competing in the PROSPEC category of the prestigious Formula Drift series in the USA. With a solid fifth-place finish under their belt from the first round in Atlanta, the team’s next round took them to New Jersey’s Old Bridge Township Raceway Park, where some gremlins put a stop to the high scores he was hoping for.

The SBR Motorsport team is made up of multiple drivers and Ford Fiestas competing in the 2025 BRSCC Fiesta ST150 Challenge. All cars are proudly equipped with EBC Brakes Racing’s acclaimed RP-X™ motorsport brake pads, with plenty of success recorded in the 2024 season. One driver, Max Buxton, continues to dominate the series this year and picked up multiple wins at the most recent round at Oulton Park.

For many years, the Clubracer outfit – made up of drivers Henry Wright and Kevin Glover – piloted their Ford Fiesta in Class D of the Trackday Championship, securing multiple podium finishes and season wins along the way. For the 2025 season, the team has moved up from Class D to Class B with their new race car – a turbocharged Mk5 VW Golf GTI. With podium finishes clinched early on in the season, we next caught up with the boys as they completed their third round at Donington Park, where an outright win was secured for the team.

Bolton-based motorcycle racer, Brad Mercer, is currently competing in the No Limits Racing (NLR) Pirelli Super Series 1000 championship. Mercer proudly secured NLR’s 1000 Championship and Cup 1000 Championship back in 2022, hoping to secure more wins throughout the 2025 season. The fourth round of the year took the roadshow to Derbyshire’s Donington Park, where Mercer managed to secure his first podium of the year.

Motorcycle race outfit, Brook Built Racing, has been competing in the No Limits Racing (NLR) SuperTwins series on a group of Aprilia RS660s, yielding great results by the end of 2024. The outfit recently took a break from mainland circuit racing to attend the Isle of Man TT, with team rider Russell Brook staying on the island to compete in the gruelling Isle of Man Steam Packet Southern 100 Races.

Kart racer Marcus Hudson is campaigning in the Super 4 British Championship for the 2025 season. Hudson has enjoyed a very positive first half of the season, accumulating points in the first few rounds, ahead of attending the most recent leg at Cumbria Kart Racing Club’s Rowrah Circuit, where unseasonal weather played host to a mixed weekend.
