Members of EBC Brakes UK made the unforgettable trip in an EBC-equipped Peugeot Bipper

This summer, some members of the EBC Brakes team took on the ‘Dash to Dubrovnik’ charity challenge. It’s a student-led road trip, driving across Europe in a £500 car through seven countries to Dubrovnik, lasting nine days.

As a team, they raised £2,387.19, with the total raised between all teams standing at £27,785.57 for Amnesty International.

For the challenge, they chose a 2010 Peugeot Bipper Teepee, equipped with EBC Brakes’ USR discs and Greenstuff pads.

Starting their adventure from Dover, they headed towards Brussels, then Stuttgart before reaching the Italian, Swiss and Austrian Alps. They visited Lake Garda and took on the famous Stelvio Pass before continuing down to Venice and along the Adriatic coastline through Slovenia and down the coast of Croatia towards Dubrovnik.

The team then decided to continue the challenge, now aiming for Athens, the most southern European mainland capital city. Along the way, they travelled through Montenegro and Albania before reaching Greece, where they even managed to pop into EBC Brakes Greece for a quick visit while in Athens.

After celebrating this milestone, they then had their return journey to complete, heading up north through Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Czechia and then across Germany to the Netherlands finally going through Belgium and France heading back to Calais for the ferry home.

Overall, they totalled 19 countries in three weeks, and 5000 miles, making this a road trip they’ll never forget.
