The firm once again acted as headline sponsor of this modified car event
The EBC Brakes and EBC Brakes Racing teams thoroughly enjoyed another instalment of the Gravity indoor car show recently, set at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.
Acting as a headline sponsor for the second year running, the braking firm once again hosted a significant trade stand in the heart of the event, jam-packed full of components, merch and EBC-shod vehicles.
Below is an overview of EBC Brakes’ presence at this two-day extravaganza…
EBC Booth – The Cars
An eclectic mix of four-wheeled vehicles was once again present, to reflect the wide range of automotive braking components that EBC offers.
Drifting was represented in the form of Hayden Renton’s E36 BMW 3-Series Compact – complete with a 6-Piston Apollo Big Brake Kit, Bluestuff pads and GD rear discs. Renton competes in Drift League GB with this fiery machine.
James Burnell’s striking Wrigley’s-liveried Mk1 VW Golf showcased the classic car components EBC offers, rocking popular Yellowstuff pads and USR discs all-round.
From road to track, Jessica Fitch-Hall’s Ford Fiesta ST150 race car was equipped with plain D-series discs, EBC Brakes Racing’s RP-X front brake pads and Bluestuff B rear pads.
Modern, capable road weapons were reflected in John Brotherton’s F82 BMW M4 Competition – sporting EBC Brakes Racing’s two-piece fully-floating discs all-round, as well as Bluestuff pads – an extremely capable upgrade for this platform.
EBC Booth – The Bikes
To showcase the celebrated braking products EBC offers for motorcycles, two superbikes from popular content creator, Shark Boi, were on-stand.
Both finished in striking lime green, Shark Boi’s BMW S1000RR and Aprilia RS660 Extrema both feature EPFA pads and XC-series floating discs.
Around the Show
It was fantastic to once again see so many EBC-equipped vehicles across the entire venue during the weekend.
Notably, Gravity’s very own builds were often found to be sporting EBC Brakes components.
There was also the neighbouring Apex Kollectiv stand, which featured a striking VW golf complete with a 6-Piston Apollo Big Brake Kit.
In the drift paddock, Steve Fraser’s duo of stunning 2JZ-powered Nissan S13s were also rocking 6-Piston Apollo Big Brake Kits – frequently hitting the tarmac to perform drifting displays to the crowds.
Another highlight was seeing Andy Howard’s ‘Drift Across the World’ BMW in the flesh – a vehicle that’s spent the best part of 2026 navigating from Australia back to the UK. Howard popped back to the UK to showcase the car at Gravity before finishing off the European section of his epic voyage. He’s running Bluestuff pads, USR discs and braided brake lines – a strong and reliable setup that helps him navigate the hugely varying and demanding terrain that he comes across.
